Bill Current is the president of WFC & Associates… a consulting practice founded in 1998 to assist companies in the drug testing industry increase revenue and grow their businesses. Mr. Current has worked with many of today’s leading providers of drug testing and background screening services. He has also worked directly with small businesses and large corporations to help them find ways to improve their return on investment in drug testing.

Mr. Current is the author or co-author of 10 books on substance abuse prevention and drug testing. His most popular title, “Why Drug Testing,” is available directly from WFC & Associates. He has also written numerous magazine articles, white papers and formal reports related to the drug testing. He has been a popular presenter at conferences and corporate meetings for the past 20 years.

He is the former executive director of the American Council for Drug Education and was the first director of the Institute for a Drug-Free Workplace. In those capacities and in his present role at WFC & Associates, Mr. Current has had the unique opportunity of working closely with private and public sector officials in an effort to identify the most effective methods in addressing America’s ongoing effort to reduce substance abuse and its devastating financial and human impact on society.

Mr. Current is the author of the “Annual Report on Drug Testing Industry Trends.” This report features the results of interviews with leading employee screening providers on the current state of drug testing and their predictions for the future of the industry.

He also edits the “Ultimate Guide to State Drug Testing Laws,” a research service that helps employers and drug testing providers stay up to date on state drug testing laws.
